Wick trimmers belong in every Candle Enthusiast's toolbox. Keeping a trimmed wick is one of the most important factors of candle burning! It insures a longer, cleaner burn by reducing soot and allows the candle to burn at a proper temperature (not too hot).

Wick trimmers belong in every Candle Enthusiast's toolbox. Keeping a trimmed wick is one of the most important factors of candle burning! It insures a longer, cleaner burn by reducing soot and allows the candle to burn at a proper temperature (not too hot).

Never trim a burning candle! Trim the wick to 1/4" before lighting or once your candle has cooled to room temperature.

Keep the scissor blades parallel to the candle and about 1/4" from the wax. The scissors should catch the trimmings for easy removal.

Discard trimmings - they should not be left in the candle.
